XY and XX

XY chromosome human:

I like your double XX.

XX chromosome human:

Flattery will get you nowhere. I will NOT show you anything XXXX!

Addictions

There is an old saying: There are good and bad in all. This applies to ADDICTIONS, too!

Some addictions are harmful. Like the addiction to drugs, tobacco, alcohol, gambling, television, the Internet, and wife teasing.

Other addictions are harmless. Like the addiction to good books, fine cuisine, beautiful art, and cursing politicians.

Still other addictions have both benefits and risks. Like the addiction to sex, work, and dumb jokes.

Risk

Acceptable Risk = Odds of Success x Potential Rewards x Long-term Consequences

Example:

If somebody offers you $1,000.000 to play Russian Roulette with 1/6 chance of death, is this acceptable?  If you need the money to save the life of a loved one, then maybe. If you need the money to buy a luxury item, then heck no.

Either way, YOU DECIDE!

Mind Game

Ideas definitely exist and influence the physical world. Despite their lack of physical form.

Do humans really INVENT ideas? Or do they simply DISCOVER ideas? Ideas that actually already exist on an abstract  plane or dimension?

Example: A famous sculptor once said he didn’t create the sculpture. It was already present inside the stone. He merely  chipped away the extra pieces of stone.

Is the human mind simply a BRIDGE between two very different, but nonetheless very real, worlds? Namely the physical and  the spiritual?

Is the mind world or dimension of abstraction simply no-man’s land between the physical realm and the spiritual realm?

If mere perception by a human mind operating at 10% capacity can change a subatomic particle, then what could a mind operating at 100% capacity – combined with WILL POWER (!) – do?

The Difference between Intellectualism and Intelligence

An intellectual takes something simple and makes it complicated.

An intelligent person takes something complicated and makes it simple.
